Raelynn and Cooper's Water Party

The final fun event in Utah was a water party in Raelynn's backyard.  It was Cooper's dream come true and Raelynn was nice enough to accommodate all his wishes.  A waterslide, water squirters, water balloons, popsicles, and the giant ball to roll around in.  He could not have been happier.  And the other kids all liked it too!

BYU Day

We started the day off at Grandma and Grandpa's house for a donut party breakfast.  They know us well.  Donuts, fruit, and chocolate milk.  We were all in heaven!  And we just had the nicest time visiting.

 Grandma's yard has beautiful flowers

 Grandma selfie!
After Grandma's house, we headed off to BYU to show the kids campus and stock up on new BYU shirts!

Cooper was less than impressed at seeing buildings where his mom and dad took classes and declared the library, "the boringest place in the world."  Ha!  I quite like that library.  The whole day brought back so many fond memories, even if my freshman dorm is no longer in existence...
We ended our BYU experience with creamery ice cream and a trip to the Bean Museum.
That night we left the kiddos with a movie and went out for sushi!  Eric and Emily are fun to eat sushi with!  Mom and Dad joined us too but passed on the sushi.  I still should have taken a picture with all of us though.
YUM times 1000.  I love sushi!  It's just so delicious and so fun to eat.
We may or may not have gone out for dessert after too...

More Random Fun in Utah

Cannonball!!!
On Madeline's half birthday, we went to Claires and Madeline got her ears pierced!!
She was so brave and did so good and looks as cute as can be!

we even celebrated right there on the floor at the mall.
Oliver spent several days putting on concerts with his harmonica.  Lol.  They were awesome.
Cooper survived a fall while playing ninja with his cousin.  He hit pretty hard on the corner of a bookshelf.  I think his glasses kept his eye safe, the frames have a huge gouge out of them.
 Morning card playing
We took the little boys to the mall to ride the train while the older kids went to the waterslides.  They had fun (especially because they didn't know they older kids went to the waterslides...)

I'm not sure that eating ice cream outside when it's 100 degrees is a good idea.  Oh man, that kid could have swam in ice cream and he would not have been stickier.  I think we were all laughing pretty good while it was melting and pouring down the cup and dripping into his shoe.  I had no napkins and all we could do was say, "eat faster!"

Pioneer Day

We watched 17 Miracles to celebrate Pioneer Day.  I'd seen it before and knew I might tear up, but didn't expect to bawl through most of it!  What a beautiful show reminding me of the blessings I have because of the faithful saints that suffered so much.  It made me happy and grateful to watch!
All the kids!  In our traditional oldest to youngest line up pic.
We went to Eric's friends house for a delicious BBQ (thanks Eric!!) and then his amazing firework show.  I don't think I could have seen better fireworks anywhere!  They were splendid and we all had a magical time!!

No flash!  Just insanely amazing fireworks!!!

 We all loved them
Ollie loved them too, as long as he had his ears plugged.  :)
 What a blast!

The Coolest Park

Giant slides, a climbing web that spins, extensive splash pad...yep, we had fun!  Utah has the best parks.  This one is in Bluffdale.

Oh yeah, and after the park, the moms went shopping...again!
No, we didn't buy the green pants, but seriously!  Look how fun!  lol!

Temples, Canoeing, Climbing, Concerts, FUN!

My parents took Ethan and Lucas to temples and temples.  They loved it and I was a tiny jealous I didn't get to go to Payson Temple!  SO beautiful!  I did get two sessions in myself though, which was incredibly wonderful.

The older boys also did some canoeing on the lake
Cooper is a ninja climber!  I couldn't believe how fast he could shimmy up that rope!

Another highlight while in Utah was the MoTab concert!  It was SO GOOD!!

A special thanks to Sam and Raelynn for keeping my little boys and playing with and putting them to bed during the concert.
And speaking of playing, Quinn played Oliver's favorite game with him:
Fun every single day!
