Madeline

Creative, designer, thoughtful and giving.  These are words that describe Madeline.  Two examples:

She loves crafting and sewing things for other people.  She always makes things for others first, then herself.  This is a little bird she made for her best friend at school.

And here are her watermelon fingernails that she painted herself.  

Dirt!

 Oliver is starting to discover what Cooper has known for a long time:  playing in the dirt is FUN!

 

 

18 Months Old!

It's pretty easy to feel happy when you get to see this face in the morning!

 And even though his favorite pastime is destruction, I can't help but smile and laugh.

 I have no idea how he is already a year and a half old.  The time has flown by in a blur.

This is Happening

We've talked about it for a long time.  And it's finally real.  This summer we are moving back to Washington State! I know this will be a blessing for our family.  I feel like it is an adventure we should take.  I can't pretend it's not very hard for me.  I do so very much love it here.  My emotions fill the spectrum.  But I know we will be blessed and I know it's a good thing...and that's all I can say about that for now.

April's Ten Things

Ten things that made me smile in April:

1.  Ethan in glasses!

 2.  Celebrating my sister's birthday

 3.  General Conference (always with cinnamon rolls Sunday morning)

 And GIANT ice cream sundaes on Monday - each scoop and topping earned by notes on talks.

 4.  Ethan competing in Math Olympiad.  My kid is a smarty!!!

 5.  Watching Ethan play basketball.

 6.  Finally getting out our fryer and making homemade donuts!!!!!!!

 7.  This picture:  "I'm ready to go"

 8.  And this one too.  Not sure how he has room in there to sleep...
