Fun

His toothless smile makes me so happy.  And his voice is slightly different now.  It's so cute!
We went to The Deming Logging Show
 The weather was just perfect
Sunday we enjoyed a pretty little walk in Lynden.

Busy with Mimi and Bapa

Mimi and Bapa came to town!  And we have been busy.

The kids played in their piano recital.  They both did great!

Madeline sang in her end-of-year school program.  It was cute.  She even had a little solo.
 We went strawberry picking!
And just FYI, fresh strawberries with homemade lemon curd is SO AMAZINGLY delicious.
 And I made jam.
And of course, lots of playing
 and walks
and even a picnic dinner outside!
And look!  Cooper lost his first tooth!!!!
Oh my, we've been having fun.  Glad there's a couple more days to go!

Baby P

My dear friend had her first baby about a month ago.  I went over on her birthday with lunch and took some pictures of her cute little guy.  It was a lot of fun!  I haven't taken pictures of babies for years.  We had a great time talking and eating.  But Baby P was the star of the show!

Farmer's Parade

We had lot of fun at the Lynden Farmer's Day Parade yesterday.  We ate donuts and collected way too much candy and the kids had fun watching the tractors and trucks go by.  Happy Summer!

Memorial Day

Memorial Day was such a wonderful day this year.  We started off the day heading to the coast at low tide and had a marvelous time beach combing.  We found all sorts of fun critters and collected entirely too many clam shells.  The weather was perfect.  Then we headed to Grandpa and Nana's house for a BBQ with delicious food and bubbles and baseball, and ended the day at a local cemetery.  I'm grateful for this country, those who fought for my freedoms and those that went before me.  I thought of my grandparents.  I felt grateful.  And missed loved ones too.  It was a nice beautiful day.
