Tulips with Raelynn

I knew I wanted to see the tulips twice this year and was so excited that my second time was with my sister.  Raelynn came up for a few days to visit me and it was amazing!  The tulips were definitely the neatest thing we did but we also enjoyed baking and eating a lot of treats (I know, really surprising right?!?) and just talking all day every day.  I couldn't have asked for more.  I just can't put into words how wonderful my sister is.  And how wonderful it is to be with her.

I can't put into words how amazing the tulip fields are either.  We stumbled on a field I hadn't see with my family and it was by far the most amazing display of tulips I have ever seen.
They went out for acres and acres.
 The most exquisite colors

I know I can't imagine heaven right.  But in my mind it has rolling hills of tulips just like this.  Because I do not think I have seen anything more beautiful.
It was just so stunning, so breathtaking, you really couldn't even taken it in.
The pictures do it no justice.
But it sure made me happy to see such creations.

And it made me happy to be with my sister again.

April's This and That

It's so fun to walk through Granpa and Nana's house that's getting built!

And I am in love with blossom trees.  Especially GIGANTIC ones!  SO so pretty!  I didn't know blossom trees could even get this big.
Playing two card games at once.  Mom's are cool like that.  And I won both.  Bam.
Cooper's latest artwork.  A digger of course!
Madeline wore this dress for the very last time to church this past Sunday.  She insists that it still fits but it's getting mighty small.  I just laughed and laughed.  Nana made this dress for Madeline for her FOURTH birthday.  It was floor length with a drop waist.  Longest lasting dress ever.  She's loved it and worn it for over half her life.  lol.  It's being retired to the cedar chest now.
And then Cooper got sick.  Poor guy.
And then he started feeling better so we played outside in the sunshine with bubbles.  We all love bubbles.
And we picked random pretties from the yard and stuck them in a vase.
And then I snuggled with this guy because HOORAY for not being sick anymore.

 Easter 2017
For dinner we had a feast.  Not pictured, the asparagus and scalloped potatoes.  It really was delicious and I was so pleased with how it turned out.
Lemon cake with berry compote and whipped cream for dessert.

 We all did!
 Bam!  Easter Egg Awesomeness.  :)
 Happy Easter Basket Kids

I never got a picture of Ethan I guess.  That's because the Easter Bunny (cough cough...dad) hides Ethan's basket in a much more difficult spot than the others.  He was still looking...lol!
