Fun with Friends

We were SO EXCITED and grateful that the Collins were willing to drive down from Idaho to see us while we were in Utah.  We had a fun couple days with them.  We started out at Stirs, a cereal restaurant.  It was loads of fun!
Then we went swimming.  Their go pro made it fun!

The next morning, the boys went to the temple!
These old friends spent the rest of the day hanging out together.  Ninja Warrior and the arcade, along with board games and pizza.
Ethan said it felt just like old times.  Like he'd never left.  It was neat for my heart to see.  And good for my heart to spend time at dinner with my old friends too.  It was just like old times for me too.  Wish it could be more than once a year!

Intermittent Springs and Things

Our last day in Afton took us on a hike to the Intermittent Springs.  What beauty!

Oh how I love my people!
 Butterfly!
Clark is such a cutie.  He liked coming into our room and hugging Madeline's llama.  :)

A special thanks to Aunt Leslie and Russ for making our week so fun!  The kids loved visiting their store for "free" ice cream and Bear Lake was a hit because of them!
 Super cute fairy houses
Here we are!  Brian and Aubree left before our family picture which was a bit of a bummer, but oh so good to see them and to all be together.  First time in years!
 Siblings
 Ollie's little bed
Cooper had a rough time sleeping in Afton.  He kept twisting in his sheet and rolling right off his bed!  Yep, he's in there!
 And in there.  Asleep...
Goodbye Afton.  Such a beautiful fun place to visit!

The Fun Continues

We started day 3 out in one of my favorite ways!  The Star Valley Temple may be tiny, but it was so beautiful and I just absolutely love going with Ethan to do baptisms!

There may have been some video games...
 And riding horses too!

Madeline gave herself a manicure with a little help from Aunt Carrie.
But one of the biggest hits of all was Nana's craft table which kept these kiddos happy for HOURS!  Nana brought so many amazing crafts.  Madeline could not have been more thrilled.  And Cooper loved the crafts just as much.  It was SO MUCH FUN!

In the evening, we did our very own version of the technical challenge from The Great British Baking Show.  Each family competed with just a list of ingredients and no instructions.  It was such a funny fun challenge.  One thing I can say is that when you know WHAT you are making, it makes it much easier!  LOL!
