Happy New Year's Sledding

Welcome 2020!!  After a recount of our years of sledding on New Year's Day, this was our 11th year in a row.  It has become one our favorite traditions.  This year, we weren't sure if we would be able to even find snow, but after over an hour of driving, we found it.  The morning was beautiful, happy, and fun.

The Rest of 2019

Madeline gave Todd a drill press for Christmas.  Some day he'd like to get a bigger one.  :)
I took my little boys on a date to Coconut Kenny's while the other people went to Star Wars.  We had fun!
My cute kiddos watching something ...
New Year's Eve was a fun fun day.  We had Yorkshire puddings for dinner made by Grandpa and Madeline
Some with beef stew
Some with cinnamon whipped honey and jams.  Mmmmmm
We had hot chocolate with these fancy hot chocolate toppers
 and of course bubbly
and before bed, a dance party with light up gloves!

Happy New Year!!!

Our Christmas

I woke up with so much joy and gratitude for Jesus Christ and I seriously cried so many times throughout the day because of how blessed and happy I felt.  It was such a wonderful day.  I am so grateful for my Savior and so grateful for my family.  Every good thing I have is from God.  I felt that joy on Christmas this year!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve morning always starts with decorating our candy houses!
Madeline made the temple.  She's about to go!
Cooper made the Empire State Building
 Todd made a lighthouse
Ethan made our house.  Madeline's window is the pink one.  :)
 Oliver made a hospital
and I made a little scene of cabins by a lake
We went to Grandpa and Nana's house for dinner.  We had prime rib and pork roast, twice baked potatoes, rolls and jello and veggies and every good thing.  We had a wonderful program and sang Christmas songs.

And I made a Christmas Baked Alaska!  It was super fun to make and turned out really yummy too.

Chocolate cake, peppermint ice cream, and white chocolate Oreo ganache.  Topped, of course, with Italian Meringue.  Which I blow torched.
Then we went home for Christmas Eve presents.
Gasp!  New pjs.  Didn't see that one coming...lol
Good luck sleeping tonight!
