I'm in a bit of a photography funk. It always seems to be nighttime and I say, "yikes! I haven't taken a picture yet today!" But I am happy to report that today is day 276 and I have yet to miss a day! I am getting a bit tired of taking pictures around my house though, and need to find a way to change things up for the last three months. . .
General Conference was amazing! I'm once again inspired to be better and try harder. And I'm going to try and not get discouraged in a day or two when I'm still me and not suddenly way more amazing. ;) Trying is the key. Just keep trying.
I ate too many cinnamon rolls this weekend.
I love reading, but I always feel in a weird mood when I stop. Does this happen to anyone else? It's like I can't break out of the book and come back to reality. I always wander around after, wondering what I should be doing or thinking about. Perhaps this is why my favorite time to read is right before I fall asleep at night.
Hmmm, it's getting late enough, perhaps that is exactly what I shall now go and do.

I totally hear you about the General Conference blues and the switching back to reality! I feel the same way. :-) Good job on your picture taking - that's amazing you haven't missed a day!
I always have a hard time putting my book down and being NICE to people if I'm in the middle of the good parts! I have to try really hard to not get grumpy because life happens and I need to, you know, take care of stuff. So yeah, reading before bed works for me too so I don't have so many interruptions and I can just go to sleep after.
and I heart general conference! I'm going to work on simplifying my life and focusing on the basics. I think I try to complicate stuff waaaay too much and it gets me bogged down.
oh and one thought about photography is you might want to try your hand at different styles of photo-editing. Sometimes its fun to make stuff kinda crazy. helps break the funk!
That is so awesome that you have not missed a day and I always enjoy your pictures.
I just have a really hard time putting a book down if it is one I like so sometimes it is safer not to read :)
I have always been like that when I put down a book. Movies do it to me even worse...that is probably why I don't really care if I watch something.
I love to read too! And I just lose myself in books. And it is hard to come back.
