My Very Healthy Diet

Oh man.  I've reached an all-time low in my eating habits.  Today, the only thing that tasted good to me was a raspberry filled powered sugar donut and cheese wiz on club crackers.  I bought both walking through the store looking for something that looked edible.  Sad day!

But in my defense, two nights ago I dreamed about peaches in oatmeal (yes, I dream about food!) and woke up the next morning hardly being able to even wait to cook the oatmeal.  And it was. so. good.  See, that's healthy right?  And I still like my fresh blueberries.  Always will.

Hmmm, you can bet that as soon as the word salad doesn't sound repulsive anymore, I'll be eating it for lunch.  With fat-free cottage cheese and lots of carrots!

I totally know how you feel! Just eating something is an accomplishment. And I have such a hard time eating veggies my first trimester. Don't know why as they are one of my favorite food groups. Good luck and hope you feel better soon!

both of my pregnancies were different. With Gray I craved veggies all. the. time. With Destry I couldn't even stand the thought. You need to just enjoy whatever you can stick in your mouth because we all know how hard it is. Food is food. calories are needed so if they come in the form of jelly filled doughnuts, go for it. When else can you eat like that and get patted on the back by your dr?

i did find if i stuck small pieces of cheese in my cheeks i could sort of let them disintegrate without having to swallow. and the protein helped me stay fuller longer. but if you crave sugar thats prob not going to work...

I had a friend that almost ate only Taco Bell during a good part of her pregnancy as that was the only thing that didn't make her totally sick- weird huh? But yea, you are pregnant enjoy being able to over eat if you want ;)
