Ethan's 10th birthday turned out to be such a wonderful day. I sure do love my ten year old!
It was a blessing that the present he opened in the morning turned out to be THE thing he had hoped most for. His mom may or may not have even known he had a thing he was hoping for most! Phew! That was pretty much awesome! It was the Chima Lego Worriz Combat Lair of course...
His party was a smashing success. Lots of people and good food and my bro-in-law helping save the potstickers...phew again! I still can't believe Ethan requested potstickers and egg rolls for his birthday dinner.
His stash. We told him we could probably cancel Christmas but he didn't go for that.
And here is his cake. He requested chocolate cake with chocolate frosting covered in chocolate chips. CHECK!
It's just weird because I remember my 10th birthday. I remember being 10.
And now I have a 10 year old. And he'll remember this too.
I hope what he remembers most is being surrounded by so many people that love him.
