Happy Birthday Ethan!

He was the most tiny precious Christmas present to us 14 years ago.  I have enjoyed looking at all the old photos and remembering how tiny Ethan once was...

 He isn't tiny anymore, that's for sure.  At 14, he is now even slightly taller than me and at the rate he is going will pass Todd by lunch tomorrow.  Lol!

 Ethan is one of my most favorite people to be with.  I love our conversations.  I love how he notices things I need and is helpful.  He is so fun to play dice and cards with.  His piano is one of my greatest joys to listen to.  He is busy with school and friends and goes off to early morning workouts.  He is truly growing up too fast for my comfort level!  And yet, I love it.  I love him.

Happy Birthday to my giant child.  My good and kind and wonderful teenager.  He makes mothering a delight.
