My daughter is wearing pants! And I don't know about you, but I think it makes her look older. She might be wearing pants a little more often in the coming months out of necessity too (not that wearing pants more often than never is very hard). Her cousin's hand-me-downs were mostly dress-less for this coming season. We've been talking up pants. She's not entirely convinced, but we'll see what happens.
She also got a much needed haircut! Two inches off, and it's still so long. Now she looks more like someone cares for her! :)And for fun, here's the face I get to see each morning . . .all smiles when he wakes up and sees me.
And since I have no pictures of Ethan, I'll end by saying that his parent teacher conference yesterday was a success. His teacher loves him and is amazed at his reading and math skills! Turns out he finishes his work first every time in first grade too. Lots of the kids are still trying to figure out how to do the work, and Ethan's already done. We just have to work on his handwriting for next term . . .lol! He's so busy going fast, he sometimes gets sloppy. But his teacher knows him well and is using her awesome animal drawing books as an incentive for better handwriting. If he takes his time and does nice work, she'll let him draw out of her books when he's finished. Because apparently, even if he goes slower, he'll still be the first one done.
And even though he's a little too chatty at times, it turns out his teacher thinks he's delightful. Phew! I was worried about that one.
Hooray! Three cheers for three kids!

Wow, good report! Lucky you with three beautiful kids with three beautiful smiles! xoxo
I like the pants. And the report of Ethan is outstanding. I need to take that kid fishing so he can talk the fish into biting our hooks.
He probably really could charm the fish into biting...ha ha...he IS such a darling!
I can't believe how much Maddie looks like Todd! I've never really seen it much but wow, those pics...Also its weird seeing her in pants! lol but I bet she'll like being warm.
I wish I would've listened about better handwriting when I was younger...tell Ethan Auntie Laura says that. Its handy (no pun intended) to write clearly so you don't have to explain what you wrote to everybody.
Cute pic of Coop!
Yea!! All good news. And yes, between her hair cut and the pants I think she looks older too. And yes, might be a little too cold for dresses and skirts. Alex is fine with pants as long as they are not jeans- it is a rare day when she is happy with jeans- they "bug her"
And cute cute smile!!
And yea for Ethan! So awesome!
