My kids are so blessed to have such a great dad
And this picture (below) is my favorite! Todd enjoyed reading what the kids think of him from the "My Dad" papers they filled out at church and school. Here is my favorite one from Ethan: "The nicest thing my dad ever did for me was I can't decide what the nicest thing was. He is just that nice." lol. I also liked the one where Ethan said he just asks his dad if he ever needs advice about what to do if he does something wrong. I hope that never changes!
And here is where a picture of me with my Dad is supposed to be. ACK! We even talked about taking it while visiting in the afternoon and then forgot. Raelynn and her kids were there too and we enjoyed visiting and eating (as always) entirely too many treats and watching Dad open presents. And when I say too many treats, I may or may not mean: ice cream, raisin pudding cake, blueberry pie, snicker doodles, and chocolate covered dried fruit…
Then we had a lovely dinner at Grandpa and Nana's. I should have taken a picture of Todd with his Dad too. But I did take this cute one of Oliver with Todd's cousin's little girl. She is about three weeks older. There, I ate dinner and then more treats. Cookies, brownies, and more chocolates. But in my defense, I passed on the ice cream and chocolate fudge sauce...
My life is filled with incredible men for which I am grateful on a daily basis. I realize not everyone is as blessed as me to have such an incredible dad, father-in-law, grand-father-in-law, and husband. And I'm so happy to have been able to spend the day with all of them!
