Fun with Oliver

Oliver and I had a really fun afternoon blowing bubbles and playing Pictionary.  He's a delightful little friend to have around.

St. Patrick's Day

Our only St. Patrick's Day picture...we had some good and some bad that day.  But the dinner turned out fun.  Rainbow dishes on a green background with green dinner.  Pea soup, green jello, and green sugar-topped muffins.  My kids said they were willing to try traditional Irish food next year!  Hooray!  I'm excited for that.

Madeline made a clover hunt for us which was also fun.  She hid clover pictures in the trees outside.  And Oliver had a grand time pinching Dad all day who wasn't wearing any green.  Ha!

Madeline and Ethan performed two pieces each on the piano for a judge from Seattle.  They both did such a great job.  The judge then worked with each of them for about 10 minutes.  She was amazing! What a great learning experience for my kids.  I was so proud of them too.  Their music was beautiful!

 A date with Oliver proved to be just the fun we needed.  He told me I was making him have the bestest day ever!

 And Cooper celebrated his half birthday with cinnamon rolls!  Always his favorite treat!  Can't believe he's 6 1/2.

Our Last Day

What better way to end our trip than with donuts as big as our faces?

 And a walk along the trails and beaches at Torrey Pines

So much beauty!  I really loved it.

What a fun trip.  It felt like a gift to me the entire time.  I guess it really was.  Todd is the best companion...he really truly is.  I am so blessed to have him!
