So yeah, to say this month has been a crazy one would be more than an understatement. We put our house on the market, were essentially homeless for a week while we had over 25 showings, ended up with four offers, found a new listing that very day up in Washington, Todd and Ethan drove up and saw it, made an offer and had it accepted. We will close on this house June 10. Hopefully end of June on our new house and are moving the middle of July. The people buying our house are letting us rent for a month so we only have to move once. It's been a crazy amazing ride. Super overwhelming, good, bad, and everything in between! I have had a perpetual stomach ache the entire month, strange foot pain (I think stress related?) and have been sleeping horribly! But overall, I am completely grateful for the blessings that have come to us. The Lord really orchestrates things so intricately and beautifully. And I recognize His hand in this entire process.
Here are my Ten Things to Smile About in May:
1. Homemade Scones!
2. We accepted an offer on our house
3. Finding a house up in Washington. Not just any house, the one we know is right for us. With more land in a beautiful location, room to grow, with good schools and the church only ten minutes away!
4. Wonderful weather to enjoy picnics
5. Ethan got his braces off
6. Oliver loving Madeline's play glasses
7. This purple bush in my backyard!!!
8. Helping my sweet girl sweep the Bishop's porch for a service activity
9. Mother's Day. I love being a mother. And I love my mother. And I love Todd's mother.
10. Oliver! And his love for all things kitchen related.
