Happy Halloween!

 We had fun at the ward party and also enjoyed trick-or-treating after.  I was so happy it stopped raining!  My darling children made the day good.

People Make Life Beautiful

I've been in awe at the beauty of the earth this fall.  I snagged this picture off Facebook because it was taken basically around the corner from me and I get to see this kind of beauty every day.  It takes my breath away!!!

But this past week, I've been reminded again just how much it is the people in life that actually make it beautiful.  Last Friday, our best friends moved away.  And I'll be honest, I've cried and cried and cried.  I took their family pictures a couple weeks ago.  Here are a few cute ones.  I love these people.  And I'm grateful for the beauty they gave my life while living here.  It was a richness and goodness and bright spot that I very much needed and will very much miss.  It was a privilege to know them.  I'm grateful for it, even if it hurts to say goodbye.

More Random Moments

Ethan finished cross country for the season.  He had such a positive experience and was sad that it ended.  I am so happy for how much he loved it.  Plus, he has great friends!

Pumpkin Patch

Oliver was very excited to go on his pumpkin patch field trip for preschool.  Especially because we got to ride the bus together!

This and That

My pretty girl!

 We enjoyed cinnamon rolls with general conference (of course!). They were so good, but not as good as conference!  I loved it so so so much.  I felt such a great desire to flood my home with faith.  It made me happy and hopeful and renewed.  I can't wait to study all the talks and I'm excited for the changes.

 Goodbye barn.  This old thing has been a landmark on the way to our house the last two years.  We've been wondering for a LOOOONG time when it would go.  It's since been completely knocked down.

 Ethan started the season getting 78th place in the first race and has since moved to 56th place!  I am so impressed and proud at his improvement.  Every race is against the same people.  He's done so awesome.  I've loved watching him run and even more, I've loved watching him love it himself.

 Last year in preschool, Cooper planted a little pumpkin seed and LOOK:  it grew into three pumpkins!!

Fun with Bapa and Mimi

Oh my!  We had a marvelous time with my parents in town.  They just play and spend every waking minute with my kids.  They have so much fun.  Funny games, crafts, sewing, running around, parks, walks, and just being silly.  We had a fun ten days with them.  We love Bapa and Mimi!
