Today we made candy cane cookies!
So cute! I love how they look, but let's be honest, they are such a pain to make. Every year when I'm making them, I think to myself, "I can't stand making these! I swear I wont make them next year!" I guess that as the year goes by though, I forget that because I make them every year! And once they are done it seems like it is worth it:

Ethan said that he did NOT want me to take his picture, so I said okay. But he did enjoy the cookies just like Madeline!

Those are cute cookies! And unfortunately the cutest things often are the most work.
What a doll! The cookies look good too.
We make pinwheel cookies and checkerboard cookies, but I have never seen the candy cane ones. They are really cute. (The checkerboard ones are the pain--the pinwheels are pretty easy)
