It was one of those fabulous mornings, a few days ago, when my kids were just getting along! It was all laughing and playing and no fighting and crying. They played for an hour before breakfast and, after eating quicker than normal, went into Madeline's room and closed the door.
They were in there long enough for me to clean the kitchen, do some laundry, read blogs, and sew something I'll probably show you tomorrow. That's when they opened Madeline's room and went into Ethan's. And that's when I took a look at the damage report:
OH YES!!! Playing happily for hours is ALWAYS worth the mess!

LOL When Emmy was pregnant with Ryder she came over and the boys went up to Ryan's room and played...we went up there some time later and well...hmmmm the door was open...but it was blocked by the toy box which was turned upside down. hahaha. But despite that...she and I had a great visit.

Oh I definitely agree! The missionaries came over yesterday evening and had to navigate through a mine field of toys and books strewn all over the living room, but it was one of the easiest days for me because he just played for hours and was so happy.
Yes so 100% worth it!
