Hands and Feet

I've sorta been in denial for a few months now about something.  I've been trying to ignore it - hoping it would go away, but it just doesn't.  I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do about it either.  It seems I am allergic to my wedding ring!  I've always been allergic to metal, but usually only cheap costume jewelry.  And I've been wearing my wedding ring for eight years now with no problems . . . until just recently.  For the last few months, I keep getting rashes and bumps that only clear up when I'm not wearing my ring.  I know, I know, I should just stop wearing it, right?  But I'm one of those girls who can't NOT wear a wedding ring.  I never took it off, not to sleep or shower or swim.  I wore it 100% of the time for eight years.  My finger is screaming at me too - so painful and itchy.  A few times, I just put tape over the rash and wore my ring anyway.  But that doesn't really help it clear up.  :)

I'm hoping that perhaps there was something coating my ring that has worn off and all I have to do it take it to the jeweler and get it redone.

On a happier note, Madeline and I had fun doing pedicures while Ethan was a school today!

Oh I am so sorry :( I feel naked without my ring too, have to have it on. Yes, hopefully getting it re-coated with help.
Your toes are so cute!

Emily stole exactly what I was going to say. :) Before you said it, I was thinking that maybe a coating came off. You could always go other-country style and switch to your right hand if it fits. Hope you figure something out! And your toes are super cute! Miyah and I did pedicures today too. :)

I went through this my ring too. I would wear it for a few hours--like to church and the bumps would show up. I kept it close by. I washed it--you know with jewelry stuff. I took it off to wash dishes, etc. nothing worked. I finally gave up and just didn't wear it for a long time. And then...after a very long time I decided I wanted to try to wear it again, and I could. I have been fine. I don't take it off. Maybe just not wearing it for a time will help. I hope so. I know how sad and frustrating that can be.
