Madeline's Birthday Pictures

The house was all ready for her party.  The banner hung, pink balloons hanging from the fan, and colorful helium balloons to match her princess table cloth tied to her chair.  And her cake!  Her CAKE!  A princess cake for a princess party.
Would you like a closer look:
The cupcakes were served at her friend party in the afternoon.  Each complete with a giant jewel ring.
Here's Madeline ready for her party:
It turns out, the cutest pictures I took were with her and all her friends at the party.  But seeing as how I didn't get permission to post all their cute little faces online, you'll just have to imagine six little girls all in princess dresses (two in pink, two in purple, and two in blue . . . like they planned it!) all sitting in a little line on my couch sporting the crowns they decorated at the party.  Smiling into the camera in so much girly cuteness!
Madeline was spoiled with lots of nice things.  She loved the beauty parlor things and is already quite good at putting the curlers in her own hair, her dolls hair, and her pony's hair.  She really liked the mermaidens I made too and the pink microwave that turns and beeps and lights up was also a hit.  She also slept that night with her new Fancy Nancy doll, because every little girl likes to be fancy even when they sleep!
Daddy came home with REAL flowers for her too.  She spent the whole next day cooing at them and saying, "I love Daddy because he brought me real flowers and big girls are who get real flowers!"
What a fun pink day we had!
