Last week, my kids and I went with my parents to California to visit my brother and his family. On Memorial Day, we went to the beach and had an amazing time. SO much fun!

My mom and I loved the little tent we sat under that provided shade and a great view of the action
I've never seen this kid happier than when he was throwing sand in his own hair and rubbing his head in the sand...
My nephew LOVED making sand castles and did it for hours. Over 20. Then an enormous wave wiped all of them out with one swoop. Poor little guy!
Madeline also loved playing in the sand
