Friday, Madeline's class had a special mother's day program for all the moms. Madeline was SO EXCITED. She had been talking about it for weeks and asking me how many days away it was for almost that long too. All the kids were excited and they did an awesome job. The songs were really cute, and they had little poems too.
After the program, all the kids served their moms cake and punch. Here we are, and it's the last picture of Madeline with her two front teeth!During the program, I thought it was odd that Madeline was the only one who didn't write her own name. I couldn't figure out why her teacher had written it. It's not like she had been absent or anything.
I asked Madeline about it and she said, "It's right there mom, I wrote it." I laughed and laughed. I should have known. Best handwriting goes to Madeline! That's because she is always very slow and careful with her work.
The kids all drew pictures of their moms too. I could pick out which one was me without too much trouble. Also the best drawing. (I'm not biased at all!) I think it's the hours of drawing we do at our house that helped. :)
See, aren't I cute?!That night, Madeline got a little head butt from Cooper while they were playing. That helped with the wiggly teeth and one finally came out! HOORAY.
The next day, out came the second. All it took was . . . a lot of twisting. Madeline is so happy now. They were hurting and bugging her for days! Hooray!
