Oh! He was the cutest little Christmas baby. He was the cutest little kid too. I usually have these pictures hanging in my laundry closet along with old pictures of the other kids, but I hung them in the kitchen for today. Such a cutie! And seriously, when did Ethan grow up?!?!?!?

He made me a mama, and now he's a teenager. Wow. So crazy. So wonderful. I feel like I've grown and become such a better person because Ethan came into my life.
Ethan is fun to talk to, friendly, smart, talented, has a faithful heart, and is a leader. I'm proud of who he is and what he is becoming. A few days ago as I sat listening to him play the piano, I realized that some day (sooner than I want to admit) I'd be sitting in a silent house missing his music. For now, I just soak it in and up and all around. I love his piano playing. I love him.
