I’ve always liked being cold better than being hot. Being hot is so terrible, you feel sick and sweaty and you can only take so much off. And then you’re still hot. Being cold isn’t that bad. Who doesn’t love big snuggly blankets? It might also be because I get hot so easily and am hardly ever cold . . . that is, until this year! I have been SO COLD this season. This is the first year I can’t comfortably wear short sleeves all winter long. Doing that never bothered me before! And up until this past month, I slept comfortably in a house kept in the low 60’s at night with one thin blanket on my bed. Now I sleep with an extra blanket and socks! SOCKS people. I would have shuttered at the idea of sleeping in socks last year. I’m not sure what the difference is, but I am sure that I’m cold. Every day, every night. Always cold! I’m a little tired of being cold, actually. But that being said . . . I’d still rather be cold than hot!

I often sleep in socks too and our house is 70.. that is cold for me :)
I used to be totally with you, would rather be cold.. but now.. well I just like southern California weather, I am such a wimp.
I am totally with you on this. There is only so much you can do to cool off, but a lot of options to keep warm.
I totally agree with you! My husband was a little surprised when I threw out the idea of moving to St. George the other day. I had to explain to him that it wouldn't be to go from miserably hot summers to intolerable miserably hot summers, but to get out of this ugly smog that we get. It just seems to be getting worse and worse over the years. Yuck!!!
Take a hot bath! That seems to cure my chills. :-) Or snuggle with your hubby (I am sure he loves your cold feet on his legs as much as my husband loves mine. :-)
I actually perfer hot to cold though. I hate that painful shivering you get when it's super cold!
I think I'll have to go with Emmy...I think the moderate weather in California is lovely. I can now see why older people move to warmer climates.
